Going to therapy is a choice. A gift we give ourselves. Much like going to the gym for physical fitness, going to therapy is a way to achieve and maintain emotional, psychological, and relationship fitness.
I’m Galena Vaysberg, Doctor of Clinical Psychology. I help adults at every life stage, as well as couples, to become emotionally fit and resilient—to feel, live, and love better!
Through the course of my professional education, years providing psychotherapy, and extensive life experience, I’ve become very familiar with issues common to our shared humanity: couplehood, divorce, infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum, parenting, single-parenting, parenting twins, parenting autistic child or adult, blended family, narcissistic partner/ex/parent, adult caregiver, death of loved one, aging, chronic illness/medical diagnosis, anxiety, depression, giftedness, and neurodivergence.
Therapy will help you change your life. No issue is too great or too small for therapy. If it matters to you, it matters. Period.
My approach to the work is to co-create a client-centered, growth-promoting therapy climate where compassion, accurate empathic understanding, and genuineness can flourish free from judgment. Your healing and wellness is our shared agenda. Improved emotional fitness is within your reach.
