Our Mission

About Wolcott Counseling & Wellness

Our therapists guide you in addressing old or unaddressed trauma and altering negative beliefs in order to open up new conversations and new vistas of possibility. We value the concept of “Kintsugi” — in examining what is considered “broken” or not working well, we envision the beauty of repair that transforms a painful story into something wholly unique, strong and new.

Lisa Wolcott founded Wolcott Counseling & Wellness, LLC in 2011 with the goal to create a vital community resource, and to participate in the broader conversation around personal and societal trauma. We believe in the connection between individual and cultural mental wellness. As therapists and guides, we commit to hard conversations, to our own education and personal growth, and to provide the very best resources for our clients. We believe deeply in the courage of our clients and their ability to author their lives.
