Are things in your life becoming unmanageable? Are you feeling stuck and unsure how to cultivate change and growth? You’re not alone. Therapy is a safe, supportive space for clients to be vulnerable, gain self-awareness, and begin their healing journey. Together, we’ll work on naming your experience, slowing down, cultivating confidence and empowerment, and developing life skills to maintain balance. My role is to walk with you on this path, providing guidance and support that facilitates your growth and encourages life long change. 

I’m passionate about working with the community. I love working with people of all ages and identities dealing with grief and loss, trauma, relationships, anxiety, depression, financial stress, and undiagnosed/untreated mental illness. I also enjoy working with individuals in crisis or individuals struggling to find care. I provide individual, couples, and family counseling. 

Impactful therapy is dependent on the therapist and the client. I believe amazing work can be done in therapy when the client and therapist are able to have a safe, transparent, and authentic relationship. As a therapist, I utilize a humanistic, person-centered approach that allows me to meet the client where they are and provide a safe, genuine space for them to explore their pain. Expect to be challenged, take risks, and make intentional, sustainable changes in your life. 

Admitting you need help is a difficult task and taking the steps to get help can be even harder. I respect your process and honor your bravery. Estelle’s Background and Credentials:

Estelle Gyimah graduated from SUNY Stony Brook in 2016 with a Bachelors in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus in health sciences and English. She completed her first Masters degree in College Student Personnel Administration at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2019. She completed her final Masters and Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Florida in 2024. She is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida.

Estelle’s clinical background includes work with clients in hospital settings and in the community. Through her year-long internship with the Alachua County Crisis Center, she gained expertise in crisis deescalation and intervention and working with community partners to access resources.

During her free time, Estelle loves to workout, go to the beach, watch movies and spend time her fur baby Brownie. She considers herself a movie buff and loves to chat about random films and short stories.
